Oak Bluffs Retreat
Date: August 13 - 17, 2026
Oak Bluffs, Martha's Vineyard

RETREAT FEATURES:
Your experience begins with a warm welcome and a private shopping reception at Martha’s Vineyard Island Life Studio, featuring light bites and beverages designed to help you settle in and connect. You’ll explore the heart of Oak Bluffs through a guided group tour with the African American Heritage Trail of Martha’s Vineyard, offering meaningful insight into the island’s rich history and cultural legacy.

Each morning begins with a grounding yoga session designed to gently awaken the body and set a calm, intentional tone for the day. Guests are also invited to take part in a cold plunge at Inkwell Beach, a longstanding tradition dating back to 1948, when Black swimmers and beachgoers gathered at Martha’s Vineyard’s first desegregated beach.

Throughout the retreat, you’ll stay at Summercamp, a boutique hotel known for its comfort, character, and relaxed coastal charm. To ensure a seamless arrival and departure, black car transportation is included to and from Martha’s Vineyard Airport or the Steamship Authority ferry terminal.
